Hello Fellow Readers,

I hope you are having a great week so far. Every Wednesday I will share my WWW Wednesday post. I love reading your Wx4 posts and I also wanted to use this post as an opportunity to give small updates about my life outside of blogging and reading.

How it works:

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words, and the purpose is to share what I have been reading recently.

Just answer the three questions below and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to look at. No blog? No problem! Just leave a comment with your responses. Please, take some time to visit the other participants and see what others are reading. So, let’s get to it!

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently reading:

Dreams of Gods and Monsters (Daughter of Smoke & Bone #3) – Laini Taylor

The book that everyone has been waiting for . . . the much anticipated final novel in Laini Taylor’s breathtakingly imaginative Daughter of Smoke and Bone series, DREAMS OF GODS AND MONSTERS

By way of a staggering deception, Karou has taken control of the chimaera rebellion and is intent on steering its course away from dead-end vengeance. The future rests on her, if there can even be a future for the chimaera in war-ravaged Eretz.

Common enemy, common cause.

When Jael’s brutal seraph army trespasses into the human world, the unthinkable becomes essential, and Karou and Akiva must ally their enemy armies against the threat. It is a twisted version of their long-ago dream, and they begin to hope that it might forge a way forward for their people.

And, perhaps, for themselves. Toward a new way of living, and maybe even love.

But there are bigger threats than Jael in the offing. A vicious queen is hunting Akiva, and, in the skies of Eretz … something is happening. Massive stains are spreading like bruises from horizon to horizon; the great winged stormhunters are gathering as if summoned, ceaselessly circling, and a deep sense of wrong pervades the world.

What power can bruise the sky?

From the streets of Rome to the caves of the Kirin and beyond, humans, chimaera and seraphim will fight, strive, love, and die in an epic theater that transcends good and evil, right and wrong, friend and enemy.

At the very barriers of space and time, what do gods and monsters dream of? And does anything else matter?

I don’t know yet…

I’m happy to say I followed my reading plan so far, and I am currently reading Daughter of Smoke and Bone #3. 🙌 And it’s suuuuuuuper slow. WOW. I don’t know what happened there, but it’s taking me ages. Also, I am so so proud of myself, because I finally finished the Cursebreaker series! WO-HOO! 🙌🙌 WHAT A WASTE OF TIME! WO-HOO! 🙌🙌🙌 Haha, it was so bad and inconclusive. I knew it, but at least I’m over it. I don’t know what I will read next. I have one book left to read for the BBNYA 2021, but I also have my copy of The Bone Shard Emperor coming and I’m not sure I can resist.

What are you reading this week? Let me know in the comments!
